The Whiskymaker’s Reserve No.4 has been awarded top prize at the Warsaw Spirits Competition.
Now into its fourth year, this Polish tasting event is organised by two of Poland’s leading organisations in the spirits industry, SPIRITS.com.pl and The Aqua Vitae. 2021’s competition saw a record-breaking total of 65 producers from 26 countries participate.
Spirits across thirty categories were assessed by an online jury according to the following criteria: aroma (30 points), taste (30 points), finish (30 points) and overall impression (10 points).
Silver medals were awarded to samples with an average score of 72/100 points, Gold for an average score of 82/100 points and Double Gold for the highest performer in the category,
In the Single Malt category, a total of 11 medals were awarded with the Whiskymaker’s Reserve No.4 was recognised with the top accolade.
An outstanding final score of 91.4 was awarded to the Whiskymaker’s Reserve No.4.
It was not just in the Single Malt category where our products enjoyed success.
The One Sherry Cask Finished Whisky and The One Port Cask Finished Whisky were awarded gold medals in the Blended Whisky category – achieving scores of 88.9 and 82 respectively.
Meanwhile in the gin classification, our classic English gin was rewarded with an impressive score of 91.1.
With a total of four medals achieved across three categories, this represents a massive achievement and endorsement for the high quality of our spirits.
