Code of Conduct
Respect, Dignity and Zero Tolerance for Harassment
At Nyetimber Group, we are committed to maintaining a safe, respectful and inclusive environment for all employees, workers, clients, suppliers and third parties.
Third-party harassment, and specifically sexual harassment of our employees and workers is unlawful and we operate a zero-tolerance approach. This applies to all interactions with our employees and representatives, whether on-site, off-site, at events or through digital communications.
Suppliers, clients and third parties must:
· Ensure their employees and representatives understand and comply with these standards.
· Take immediate and appropriate action where inappropriate behaviour occurs.
· Cooperate fully with any investigation conducted by Nyetimber Group, including removing individuals from engagement with Nyetimber Group where required.
Our Expectations
We expect all suppliers, contractors, clients, members of the public and other third parties to:
· Act with professionalism, courtesy and respect at all times when interacting with our employees, workers or representatives.
· Refrain from any form of harassment, including sexual harassment, bullying, intimidation, inappropriate comments, gestures or conduct.
· Respect personal boundaries, dignity and diversity, including protected characteristics under applicable law.
· Ensure their employees and representatives are aware of, and comply with, these standards when working with or on behalf of Nyetimber Group.
· Take prompt action if inappropriate behaviour is identified within their own teams.
Nyetimber Group’s Responsibility
Nyetimber Group will ensure that:
· Our policies, including, but not limited to: Grievance, Whistleblowing, Anti Harassment and Bullying, Equal Opportunities, Prevention of Sexual Harassment Policy and Modern Slavery, are readily available to all employees and workers, on our intranet and are reviewed regularly to ensure it remains up to date with current legislation.
· Training is provided to all employees and workers, informing them of the policy, how to help prevent sexual harassment, and the support available to anyone affected.
· Employees and workers are encouraged to report any actual or perceived occurrence immediately through the appropriate channels.
· Records are kept of any incidents or reports, whether raised internally or externally, and reported to senior managers on a quarterly basis.
Zero-Tolerance Approach
We do not tolerate:
· Unwanted conduct of a sexual nature, whether verbal, non-verbal or physical.
· Offensive, intimidating or hostile behaviour.
· Any actions that create an unsafe, intimidating, hostile, degrading, humiliating or uncomfortable working environment.
Reporting and Consequences
· Concerns may be raised directly with Nyetimber Group at any time via HR@nyetimber.com.
· Alternatively, reports may be made confidentially and, where permitted by law, anonymously via the whistleblowing email address: whistleblowing@nyetimber.com.
· We will take all reports seriously and investigate where appropriate.
· Failure to meet these standards may result in immediate action, including termination of contracts or business relationships.
