Immerse yourself in the sights, sounds and smells of our working distillery, following the spirit’s journey to discover how every flavour possibility is achieved.
With a focus on distillation, maturation and the art of blending, you will learn about élevage and how the alchemy of perfumers influences our philosophy, before enjoying a guided tasting of our finest single malt whiskies, paired with handmade chocolates from artisan master-chocolatier, Iain Burnett.
The Lakes Single Malt has been perfectly matched to The Highland Chocolatier’s award-winning truffles, made with a uniquely complex single-origin cocoa from the volcanic island of São Tomé in the South Atlantic.
Rare and luxurious, the chocolates have been meticulously chosen to enhance, deepen and contrast the sherry-led flavours of our single malt whisky, transforming the taste experience on your palate with every mouthful.
Visiting The Whiskymaker's House, your guided pairing experience includes our signature style single malt whisky, The Whiskymaker's Reserve, and some of our finest Lakes Single Malt Whisky Editions.

"A whisky lover's paradise. Absolutely brilliant distillery tour and can highly recommend paying a bit more for one of the tasting options."
Best attraction in the North Lakes, if not all of the Lakes. Excellent tour of the distillery, superbly presented. The best day out of our holiday, will definitely visit again.
"A must visit. Lovely small distillery that is fighting its way into a challenging market and producing great whisky from the Lake District."
