Nocturne reimagines the Old Fashioned with cherry liqueur, coffee beans, and chocolate bitters, enriching the whisky's warmth. Finished with orange peel, it's bold, aromatic, and effortlessly smooth.
Ingredients
50ml The Lakes Signature
1 Piece of orange peel
3 Coffee beans (muddled inside the mixing glass)
20ml Cherry liqueur
3 Dashes of chocolate bitter
Garnish with a cherry
Method
Muddle the coffee beans gently in a mixing glass to release their aroma and flavour. Add The Lakes Signature whisky, cherry liqueur, and chocolate bitters to the glass. Fill the mixing glass with ice and stir for about 20-30 second until well-chilled and diluted. Strain the mixture into a rocks glass over a large ice cube. Express the orange peel over the drink by twisting it to release the oils, then drop it into the glass. Garnish with a cherry.
Fine Line
A refreshing whisky highball elevated by an unexpected blend of Fino Sherry and dandelion coffee, adding nutty, woody, and gently spiced layers to the drink's crisp profile.

Add The Lakes Signature, Fino Sherry, cold brewed dandelion coffee, and agave syrup to a highball glass. Fill the glass with ice and stir gently to combine and chill. Top up with a splash of sparkling water if desired, for added lift. Garnish with a ribbon of lemon peel, twisted over the drink to release its oils.

A modern take on the Whisky Sour, where crème de cassis brings rich fruit and subtle sweetness, while teapot bitters and Cocchi Americano add herbal and spiced complexity. Verjus stands in for lemon juice, offering a more nuanced acidity.

Method
