An expression of creative freedom: Infinity, Reflections & Mosaic.

The Whiskymaker’s Editions are single malt whiskies designed for those who love to explore new flavours.

Fun, intriguing, creative and playful, rather than savouring the same whisky style time and again, our series of limited editions invite you on an intentional diversion from our signature sherry-led style.

With the intrinsic objective of creating outstanding flavours, they are open to new worlds of inspiration, diving deep into the impact of different oak, creating intense characters, delicate nuances, or complex, rich and classic flavours.

With each unique bottling seeking to surprise and delight with new experiences, here we explore the individual character and the inspiration behind The Whiskymaker’s Editions Infinity, Reflections and Mosaic.

The Whiskymaker’s Editions Infinity

Infinity is a single malt designed for the curious

Unlocking a new dimension with every sip, Infinity is inspired by a never-ending fascination with the interconnectedness of fragrance and flavour. Designed for the curious, it offers a unique experience, stimulating profound thought as it explores the notion that everything in nature is entwined in a state of perpetual motion, leading to somewhere new.

Matured in a multitude of our finest sherry butts, including rare Palo Cortado seasoned American oak casks, it is the art of blending, carefully layering complimentary and contrasting flavours, and learnedly counterbalancing aromas that makes it possible for Infinity to appear in a state of constant evolution on both the nose and palate.

Simultaneously complex and enigmatic, bewildering and delightful, each inimitable taste entices you to go deeper and deeper into a metaphorical rabbit hole of flavours, offering the opportunity to explore infinite ever-changing combinations that make it difficult to define where they come from and where they lead.

Tasting notes: A myriad of flavours on the nose and palate, ranging from incense sticks and toasted rye bread to treacle, its interpretation is open to the unique taste of every individual.

The Whiskymaker’s Editions Reflections

An autumnal whisky designed in collaboration with Simon Rogan

Reflections is a modern interpretation of a classic. Reflecting a 20-year evolutionary journey from Simon Rogan’s first restaurant L’Enclume, to the creation of his Cartmel Valley ‘Our Farm’, and what is now an eight-strong restaurant portfolio across two continents, this is a whisky inspired by a moment of contemplation amid the natural beauty of the Lake District.

Grounded by earthly connections, a sense of place and a desire to develop a harmonious relationship between the whisky’s flavours and the sustainable ethos and experience that keeps Rogan at the pinnacle of modern British dining, Reflections is a restrained, elegant and light whisky, but also incredibly vibrant.

Tasting notes: Suggestive of the autumnal Lake District in character – spiced pumpkin and fragrant wood spice evolve into apple compote, warming cinnamon, and a long, reflective finish.

The Whiskymaker’s Editions Mosaic

East meets west with this light sherry-led whisky

Made with carefully designed pockets of flavour from our collection of bespoke casks, Mosaic is a story told through the art of whisky creation. Combining the characters of both east and west, it strives to reveal how both influences can be embraced as part of a modern whisky structure.

Taking inspiration from the Silk Road, the ancient intercontinental avenue of east-west trade and cultural exchange, this single malt immerses you in a tale of two worlds with a mellow, rustic elegance in keeping with its cosmopolitan influences.

From crisp autumn days in the west, where the thin, sharp air surrenders to the aromas of woodfire and spent leaves, it takes you on to the heady spice melange of Moorish bazaars, and then further into the light, delicate oriental wood nuances that evoke wisdom synonymous with Japanese temples.

Tasting notes: Aromas of woodfire and autumn leaves drift between dried fruit, roasted macadamia nuts, oriental wood, dried orange peel, and chocolate malt.
